Garden – Flower compass

Högfors Ironworks and its surroundings belong to important Finnish industrial heritage with with a cast iron furnace, museum, rapids, dam and historical buildings from the 18ᵗʰ century.

The small garden is just beside the dam and rapids and is part of the former canon’s home of the local parish with a small house (year 1900) and a new sauna (year 2000).

In spring 2005 a flower compass was designed and built to form structure for the yard.
